Newport Beach, CA (November 1, 2015) – Aviation Capital Group (“ACG”) announced that it has placed an order with Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (“AEI”) for the AEI B737-800SF conversion. The deal includes 15 aircraft with options for an additional 15 freighters.
“ACG has enjoyed a very successful partnership with AEI, having already converted six 737-400 aircraft from passenger to freighter. The quality of the work, punctuality to schedule and flexibility to accommodate our operators exemplifies working together. Even more impressive is the positive feedback from airlines about the performance of our planes after conversion.” said Denis Kalscheur, ACG’s chief executive officer. “We started in a modest measured manner and are pleased to have the opportunity to grow our relationship in the coming years,” Mr. Kalscheur added.
AEI’s president, Roy Sandri stated, “ACG is a substantial player in the commercial aircraft leasing business and we are simply delighted that yet another high caliber global leasing company has demonstrated its trust in the AEI B737-800SF conversion offering.”
